The SP001G is Makita's first plunge saw in the 40Vmax XGT range
The Makita SP001GZ03 is a cordless 40V plunge saw with a 165mm diameter. Its brushless motor provides the greatest power output for demanding tasks. With a bevel capacity of 1-48 degrees and a 56mm max depth of cut at 90 degrees, it is the ideal choice for the professional. Other features include AWS which automatically runs compatible dust extractors while the switch is on and constant speed control to ensure the best results every time. It also has positive stops at all commonly used bevel angles (22.5°, 45°).
Makita's Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS) uses Bluetooth technology for wireless power-on and power-off communication between the equipped tool and dust extractor. Once connected via AWS, your dust extractor will automatically power on or off when your cordless tool starts or stops, running only when your cordless tool is in use. For added convenience, you can link up to 10 AWS tools to one AWS dust extractor / vacuum.
