This model succeeds the popular 5704R and has a number of improvements and refinements e.g. lighter and more compact. The rear dust exhaust port is useful in helping maintain a clean, safe and healthy working environment. This model is compatible with Makita guide rails to help ensure a straight, precise cut every time.
