With its continuous operation mode, this SDS hammer drill allows for easier chiselling in tough materials
The HiKOKI DH 45ME is fitted with a Brushless Motor giving the Demolition Hammer a significantly extended life cycle by eliminating troubles with armature burnout, layer short and commutator wear. HiKOKI is the new brand name for Hitachi. As well as no carbon brush replacement being required, the efficient Brushless Motor offers higher drilling performance. The DH 45ME is designed to be powered by engine generators too, thanks to an original compact and high-efficiency inverter circuit. UVP (User Vibration Protection) reduces vibration for added working efficiency and operator safety. HiKOKI's original, spring-type dynamic vibration absorber with a weight and two springs moves in the opposite direction to the vibration direction of the main body. This is further enhanced by a vibration-absorbing handle. Internal double-insulation construction with a very sturdy aluminium die-cast body and a plastic internal stator holder is incorporated, making the housing more rigid which significantly enhances the durability of the motor unit. Features a continuous operation function (available for the Hammering Mode) which keeps the tools running even after the trigger switch is released, making chiselling easier. Sold in 110V and 240V models.
