With its optimized hammering mechanism, this cordless SDS drill achieves top-class drilling and demolition performance
The HiKOKI DH 18DBL SDS+ has a brushless motor which gives a significantly extended product life cycle. It eliminates trouble including armature burnout, layer short or commutator wear even in severe work environments. Besides, no carbon brush replacement is required. HiKOKI is the new name for Hitachi. The brushless motor and the optimized hammering mechanism achieves top-class drilling speed and demolition performance. The grip of the handle and the drill bit head is on the same line of action, which makes applying force to the drill easier. Up to 170 x 40mm deep holes drilled into concrete with an 8.5 drill per 18V battery charge. The machine is fitted with RFC (Reactive Force Control). When the tool bit is suddenly overburdened during operation, the slip clutch works or the tool's built-in controller stops the motor's output before the entire tool jerks. The machine is sold in a cardboard box without battery or charger.
