Dewalt Power Tools Warranty
DeWalt is confident in the quality of its power tools and offers a 1-year warranty for users in the UK and the European Union. The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship that occur within 12 months of the purchase date. If your DeWalt power tool becomes defective during this period, DeWalt will repair or replace it free of charge.
To make a warranty claim, you must contact your seller or an authorised DeWalt repair agent. You will need to provide the original proof of purchase and the serial number of the tool. Call 01753 567055 and the Dewalt Service Centre will arrange the best course of action to get your issue rectified. Normally you will be asked to take the faulty item to your nearest Dewalt Agent but if you are further than 10 miles away from an agent they will arrange to have your item collected by carrier.
See a full list of authorised Dewalt repair agents and full details of the after-sales service.
The warranty does not cover defects caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect. It also does not cover consumables such as batteries and blades.
DeWalt Battery Warranty
DeWalt's standard batteries are not covered under their warranty procedure. However, DeWalt are so confident in the durability of their POWERSTACK batteries, that they are offering their 3 year guarantee for the first time ever on a DEWALT battery.
DEWALT 3-Year Extended Warranty
You can extend the warranty on your DeWalt power tool to 3 years by registering it within 4 weeks of purchase. To register, visit the DeWalt website and enter your product information.
The 3-year warranty is only available to the original purchaser of the tool and is not transferable. It also does not cover defects caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect. To register, you will need your:
