Makita just announced their first-ever CORDLESS M-Class dust extractor. Here's everything we know about it.

Here's what you need to know

The VC006GM is powered by 2 x 40Vmax XGT batteries in series to provide 80V power output. It provides high air flow similar to that of a corded model and has an automatic self-cleaning filter system with twin filters. The low air flow warning buzzer alerts the user when air flow decreases e.g. when the filter is clogged or the tank is full.

It has a 30 litre wet and 40 litre dry capacity. MakPac storage cases can be attached directly to the machine without the need for adaptors and variable speed control allows you to tailor the suction to the job. This model is particularly effective in areas where a large amount of airborne dust is generated, capable of handling dust permeability less than 0.1%. Large rear wheels make it easy to transport across job sites.

AWS (Auto Wireless System) allows this machine to be connected to countless power tools via Bluetooth for reliable dust extraction in heavy-duty applications. The vacuum cleaner starts and stops automatically when the connected cordless tool is switched on or off. After using the cordless vacuum cleaner in wet operation, the water can be easily emptied via the drain cap.
