All About the DLS211ZU Makita 36V Circular Saw
The Makita DLS211ZU Cordless Mitre Saw has a 305mm blade diameter which gives this big 31kg machine a maximum cutting capacity of 92mm x 382mm. Although large it can boast a maximum mitre range of 60 – 60º and a maximum bevel range of 48 – 48º. These days dust in the working environment is rightly frowned upon so Makita has a solution, Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS) which connects to compatible dust extractors via Bluetooth. The dust extractor automatically runs while the switch is on. The machine has dual-stage dust extraction, positioned behind the fence and behind the blade for maximum efficiency. This improves air quality on-site and reduces clean up time when you’re finished. The DLS211ZU rail-forward design allows the rear of the machine to be placed close to the wall so you can still make those big cuts even if your workspace area is tight.
Makita Cordless Miter Saw Review
The power for the Makita DLS211ZU cordless compound mitre saw is supplied by 2 x 18V batteries in series which gives the user AC levels of cutting ability where mains electricity is not available. The brushless motor gives added power and battery life, spinning the blade to a No Load Speed of 4400rpm and Automatic Torque Drive Technology changes the cutting speed according to load condition for optimum operation. The DLS211ZU is a body only model which is fully compatible with all LXT batteries and chargers.
