Milwaukee's Brand New M18 Plunge Saw

Alongside Makita and Dewalt, Milwaukee are one of the world's most popular and trusted manufacturers of power tools. But unlike these other brands, there's one tool that's been missing from their assassin.

Well, fret no more! Milwaukee just released their M18 FUEL Cordless Track Saw. Here's everything you need to know about it.

Here's what we know:

  • The saw has a 165mm blade
  • Features the Milwaukee FUEL Brushless Motor which means excellent power output, greater runtime and longer product lifespan
  • Compatible with Festool and Makita rails
  • Connectable to dust extractors
  • Bevel function from -1 to 48 degrees
  • Performance equal to that of a corded tool
  • It's able to cut 45 metres of 18 mm plywood on one 5.5Ah battery charge
  • The depth adjustment has two scales, one for on the rail and one for off the rail, this can easily be adjusted by the press of a button
  • The saw also has a cut line window on the side for those cuts where you need to see the front of the blade against the material
  • Scoring stop allows a 1 mm back cut to made minimising any splintering in laminated materials
  • The bevel adjustment has stops at 22.5°, 45°and 48°. It also has a -1 for making a back cut
  • Easy blade change system
