Stihl Garden - Now at Toolstop

Stihl are a worldwide known manufacturer of professional power tools, in particular the Stihl Saw. They have been creating ground breaking innovations for more than 90 years and in more recent years, they have focused on the garden tool industry.

Stihl's achievements to date:

The 1930's saw the introduction of the first petrol-driven two-man Stihl chainsaw.

In 1972 came the chain braking system. The chain brake brings the chain to a halt in a fraction of a second of the machine kicking back.

In 2000, Stihl introduced their innovative multi-tool concept - a splitting shaft that allows a whole range of tools to be powered by one engine. It is known today as the KombiSystem.

2005 saw their advanced spring-loaded system that is proven to significantly reduce vibrations from the engine to the user's hand.

In 2009, they went on to release their first ever cordless power tool - the cordless hedgetrimmer - and come 2011, they had a complete range of cordless garden tools.

In this Toolstop guide, we give you our top picks from Stihl's garden range.
